Okay, I will admit it - I have a bit of a penchant for 70's style homes at the moment!! There is something so warm and inviting about those strong dark beams and rough interior brickwork. Maybe its a throwback to weekends spent at my best friends (Merchant Builder) house in Corowa when I was growing up.. Who can say?
But surely you must agree with me, this house -15 Haldane Road, Eltham - is something special. Here's what Barry Plant have to say about it;
"This prestigious north facing Merchant builder home promises a lifestyle of luxury and relaxation. Architecturally designed to capture natural light, warmth, tranquil environs and stunning tree top vistas, this property is an entertainers delight. Featuring a flowing floor plan with expansive living spaces and multiple outdoor entertaining areas, this home is a brilliant canvas for stylish decoration. Features include a warm combination of
hand made Hawthorn bricks with natural timbers, gas ducted heating and reverse cycle air conditioning, open fireplace and wood heater, beautiful landscaped gardens by Robert Boyle, separate dog enclosure and overflow parking."
