Caerleon Castle

Caerleon is a town in south east Wales - the site of an ancient Roman fortress, a supposed seat of King Arthur's court. No sign of ancient ruins here, but I have dug this c1962 Mid-Century beauty out of the archives for today - it sold in December 2009. It's tucked away at 4 Caerleon Court, Eaglemont and is almost fit for a king!
Strong architectural lines and windows designed to follow the sun
Open living / dining space with amazing timber lined ceiling that extends to the external eaves.
Indoor outdoor living 1962 style!
Original timber kitchen with servery through to dining room (and space to host the knights at the round table!)
First floor study with view to the court
